Who is the new "best mommy ever"? Me! All because of our little pink cupcake and pajama party on Friday night. I found some cheap Frozen pajamas for the girls and surprised them each with a pair when I got home, and oh my excitement. Wills was just the cutest thing, pointing at her shirt and saying "telsa!" (not sure why she puts the "T" on the front, but it is darling nonetheless.) It's now Tuesday, and she's worn them every night for bed, and doesn't want to take them off in the morning to get dressed. Guess now I have two little Elsa addicts in the house!

Just freezing stuff in her new jammies |
It was Friday night and the girls willingly had on their jammies at 7 p.m. Why not celebrate with some pink strawberry cupcakes? My little helpers did a great job counting out their liners for the cupcakes, and Harper is learning to crack eggs. Well, I guess I should say crack eggs without mashing half the shell into the batter; she does just fine getting them cracked. ;) The cupcakes were just a box mix, but we made a cream cheese buttercream frosting, and they were yummy! I'm glad the recipe only yielded 12.
October feels a bit like birthday month for us (and will even more next year with Alston being an October baby!). Lots of little people we love were born this month, which means lots of fun celebrating. Sweet Emerson turned two! It is so fun to see her and Willa together, blonde hair blowing everywhere. They look more like sisters than Harp and Wills do. The Fertitta kiddos and the Quesenberry crew play so well together...we'll have to be sure to plan our babies #3 around the same time, too. ;) Emmy's party was a cute Minnie Mouse theme at Salem's Longwood Park.

Their favorite part-- climbing on the vines! |
We loved having Sam home for the weekend-- it's been the first one in so long that he hasn't been working. How nice it was to stand beside him in church-- love holding his hand. After church, we went to a chinese restaurant (anyone that knows me well is saying "What?!!" don't worry, I still don't really like it.) since Sam was in the mood for Asian and the Teriyaki Grill (a Japanese hibachi bar) was closed. I'm not sure which the girls liked more-- the sweet & sour chicken or the fish tank. Wills loved seeing all the "pish." And I love seeing them try chopsticks and fortune cookies.
