Christmas Dinner with the Fertittas

They may not have been a lot of present opening this morning, but my oh my, did we make up for it this evening!  All five grandchildren opened their gifts from E V E R Y O N E tonight, so there were big piles and lots of them. 

Christmas Eve is always a pot luck, so I thought it would be nice to do a nice Christmas dinner instead.  So, I fixed a 13 lb ham, and the mashed potatoes, and rolls, and the family brought the rest of the sides.  It was so yummy, and there were lots of full bellies for the Christmas story and gift opening.

Granny read the Christmas story from our family Bible and gave a short devotional about how the wise men went with haste to find the Christ child.  Year after year, she leads her family with humility and grace. How blessed we are to have her. 

 

 

 

 

 

It was so hectic this year that I didn't get many pictures... Just lots of hugs, presents, and memories. And messes. Haha!
