Rain, Rain, Go Away

Friday

H:  "Is it raining?"

Me:  "Yes."

Saturday

H:  "Is it raining?"

Me:  "Yes."

Sunday

H:  "Is it raining?"

Me:  "Yes."

Monday

H:  "Is it raining?"

Me:  "Yes."

Tuesday

H:  "Is it raining?"

Me:  "No."

H:  "Can we go to the pool?"


Well, we only have a few weeks left of summer, so despite it being chilly by summer standards (and late by preschooler standards), Harper and I left after dinner to head to the pool.

Oh, happy girl.  With how often I tell Harper "no," I have to be deliberate about her hearing "yes" from me, even if it means leaving at 7 p.m. for an hour or two in a cold pool.  Small price to pay for this grin.
